Our mission
Our story
Woodland Hills Toastmasters is a President's Distinguished club — one of Toastmasters International's highest honors for member growth, education, and club excellence. Rooted in the San Fernando Valley, we're a medium-sized, diverse group of professionals, creatives, and neighbors united by a shared goal: becoming more confident communicators and capable leaders.
What sets us apart? Our meetings are inspiring, organized, and professional — but never stiff. Members are positive, supportive, and genuinely engaged. You'll find thoughtful feedback, real mentorship, and a room where it's safe to take risks — whether you're delivering your Ice Breaker or polishing a speech for work.
No experience is required, and there's no pressure to join on your first visit. Come see a meeting, meet the members who make this club special, and decide for yourself.
What to expect at your first visit
Meetings run from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM and start promptly at 6:00. Arrive a few minutes early to meet members and enjoy conversation before we begin. If you arrive after the start, please enter quietly so as not to disrupt the meeting.
We are a hybrid club meeting on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month:
- 1st Thursday (In-Person): Woodland Hills Fire Station 84 Community Room
- 3rd Thursday (Online): Connect virtually via Zoom from anywhere!
Reach out to our VP of Membership before your first visit so we can confirm the latest meeting details and make sure you can find us.
